  1. hi, i was inspired by the ross beattie genealogy site as i found out so much that i did not know about my mother’s side of the family. I come down the cross line from jane and her husband. They came on the broxenbury. I am trying to find relatives still alive in australia from this line, and went to show my brother the site today and couldn’t get on to it! What has happened to it? Does that information still exist on another site now? Should I contact Ross Beattie ( we were in email contact when I first found the site, but perhaps he has moved/changed address? ) .

Merry Xmas, I look forward to looking at your site and tracking the broxenbury connection. If you could help me to refind the ross beattie site or ross himself.. I would really appreciate it.

    Yours sincerely,

    Kate Clarkson

  2. Hi Kate, The site was on Yahoo GeoCities which closed entirely this year. Some of the materials has been saved on the Wayback machine. Try these addresses http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Park/2283/families/cross.html

I think most of it is there. I suggest you duplicate what you can in case it too vanishes. best of luck. Yrs Lynne.
